What is Trusted execution environment (TEE)?

A trusted execution environment is like a special safe inside your toy box that only you can open, and no one else can mess with what's inside.

Imagine you have a super cool toy robot, and it has a secret message hidden inside. You want to read the message without anyone else seeing it. So you put the robot in a special safe (that’s the TEE) that only you know how to open. Even if someone tries to peek or trick the robot, they can’t see the message, because the safe keeps everything secret.

Now think of your computer as a toy box. Sometimes, bad guys try to sneak into your computer and steal secrets or mess with your games. A trusted execution environment is like that special safe inside your computer, it lets important stuff happen safely, away from sneaky intruders.

How the Safe Works

When you open the safe (the TEE), everything inside stays protected. It’s like having a private chat with your best friend in a room where no one else can listen. Even if someone tries to trick your computer, the safe keeps your secrets safe and sound.
