What is a Tree?
Imagine your favorite toy, maybe it’s a robot or a teddy bear. A tree is like that toy, but it grows bigger every year. It has a trunk, like the body of the toy, and branches, like the arms. Leaves are on the branches, and they help the tree breathe. Trees can be as small as a pencil or as tall as a house.
What is Fruit?
Fruit is like a snack that trees make for us. When you eat an apple or a banana, you’re eating fruit. Some trees make one kind of fruit, like apples or oranges, and others might make many kinds. The fruit grows on the tree until it’s ready to be picked.
Trees don’t need magic to grow fruit, they just need sunlight, water, and time!
