What is the President?

The President is like the leader of a big group of people who help run a country.

Imagine you're playing a game with your friends in the park. You all agree on the rules, and one person, let's say you, gets to be the leader for a while. That person makes choices about what game to play next, how long to play, and even helps solve arguments if they happen.

The President is like that leader, but instead of playing games in a park, they help run an entire country. They make important decisions, like where to send soldiers, how much money to spend on schools, or what kind of laws people have to follow.

What Does the President Do?

  • The President gives orders, just like you might tell your friends what game to play.
  • They talk with other leaders from different countries, like when you invite another group of kids over to join your game.
  • Sometimes they even get to choose who will be in charge of big parts of the country, like a new teacher for the school or a new head referee for the playground.
