Like a Toy That Moves All By Itself
Or think of a toy that moves all by itself when you press a button. Inside the toy, there’s a little motor that helps it move, that’s like you, doing the work. But there are also little wheels and gears inside that help carry the motion, that's like the other part working with you.
They both do important jobs to make things happen! Imagine you're pushing a toy car across the floor, that’s you doing the work. But what if someone else is helping you push it too? That other person is like the other part working with you.
Like a Team of Friends
Think of your body as a team of friends. When you walk, your legs are one friend pushing you forward, that’s you, doing the work. But your arms and shoulders are also helping by keeping you balanced, that's the other part working with you. Together, they make it easier for you to move.
