What is the internet phenomenon known as the Backrooms?

The Backrooms are like a never-ending hallway you walk into after leaving your favorite playground.

Imagine you're playing hide-and-seek in a big building with lots of rooms. You run through one door, and instead of finding the end of the game, you just keep walking, and walking, through more doors that all look the same. Every room has yellow walls and gray floors, and it feels like you'll never find your way back to the playground. That’s what happens in the Backrooms.

Sometimes people say they fall into the Backrooms when they're lost or tired, just like how you might feel if you walked for hours without stopping. It's as if the building decided it wanted to keep you playing forever!

In the Backrooms, there are not only endless hallways but also other strange places, like big empty rooms and even some with strange lights or shapes, just like how your playground might have a slide that goes into a different part of the park. You can meet other kids who got lost too, and sometimes you find things that help you get back out.

It's not magic, but it feels almost that way!
