What are difference between bees and wasps?

Bees and wasps are both flying insects that live in groups, but they have some important differences.

What They Look Like

Bees usually have rounder bodies and fuzzy hair, which helps them collect pollen, the powder from flowers. Wasps often look thinner with less hair and more of a smooth or shiny body. Think of bees like little bumble-bunny friends, and wasps like sleek superhero bugs.

What They Do

Bees are mostly busy making honey in their hives all day long. They work together to collect food and take care of their family. Wasps don’t make honey, they’re more like the wild cousins who sometimes chase you if they feel annoyed. While bees usually stay calm, wasps might sting you if they think you're a threat.

Where They Live

Bees live in hives, often inside trees or in boxes we put for them to live in. Wasps live in paper-like nests that hang from trees or buildings, like a big home made of crumpled paper.
