What is swarm?

A swarm is when lots of little things work together without anyone telling them what to do.

Imagine you're playing with a big group of friends in a park. No one is giving orders, but everyone starts running in the same direction, maybe after seeing something cool like a butterfly or a ball rolling by. That’s kind of how a swarm works!

Like a Group of Bees

Think about bees buzzing around a hive. Each bee is small and simple, but when they all move together, some going to collect honey, others coming back, it looks like one big, happy group working as one.

Or Like a Crowd at the Movies

When you and your friends rush into a movie theater right before the show starts, everyone moves in the same direction. No one is telling you what to do, but you all just know where you’re going, it’s like being part of a swarm too!

In both cases, each little thing (bees or people) follows simple rules, and together they make something big and exciting!
