Sustain means to keep something going strong, just like when you keep a toy moving by pushing it again and again.
Like a Bouncing Ball
Imagine you have a ball that bounces on the floor. When you first throw it, it goes high up in the air, but each time it comes back down, it doesn’t go as high as before. That’s because some of its energy gets used up. If you want the ball to keep bouncing for a long time, you have to sustain its bounce by giving it more pushes.
Like Feeding a Pet
Think of it like feeding your pet every day so they stay happy and healthy. If you stop feeding them, they might get tired or sad. But if you keep giving them food, just the right amount, they will keep playing with you for a long time.
Sustain is all about keeping things going by adding what they need, little by little, so they don’t run out of energy or strength.
