Strong means something can hold on tight or push back hard without getting squished or broken.
Imagine you're playing with building blocks. If you stack them one on top of each other, they might wobble and fall over easily, that’s not very strong. But if you use bigger blocks or glue them together, the tower stands tall and doesn’t tip over as fast, now that's strong!
What makes something strong?
- Big blocks are like big muscles. They can hold more weight.
- Glue is like a friend who helps the blocks stick together better.
Think of your favorite toy, maybe it’s a truck or a robot. If you push it gently, it moves. But if you push really hard, and it doesn’t move or break, that means it's strong!
So next time you're playing, see what's strong and what isn't, and maybe try to make something even stronger!
