What are stealth technologies?

Stealth technologies are like giving a robot a quiet voice so it can sneak up on you without being heard.

Imagine you're playing hide and seek in a big house. If your friend is loud, like they’re running down the hallway, knocking over cups, it’s easy to find them. But if they tiptoe quietly, almost like a cat, it's much harder to catch them. That’s what stealth technologies do for machines like planes or ships: they help them stay hidden from people who are trying to see or hear them.

How Stealth Works

Stealth technologies use special materials and shapes that make it hard for radar, a kind of "super sight" used by airplanes and submarines, to find the object. It’s like wearing a coat that makes you invisible in a certain light.

Some stealth planes are also very quiet, so they don’t make much noise when they fly. That means it's harder for people to hear them coming, just like how a mouse can sneak up on you without making a sound.

With stealth technologies, machines can move around almost like ghosts, hiding from view and sound!
