What is Starship’s first stage?

Starship’s first stage is like the strong legs that carry it on its journey to space.

Imagine you're playing a game where you have to run all the way up a really tall hill, that's kind of what the first stage does. It gives Starship the big push it needs to get off the ground and into the sky.

The first stage is the bottom part of the rocket, and it has powerful engines called engines. These engines burn special fuel, like a giant fire inside the rocket, which makes it go whoosh, up, up, and away!
