What is Stagnation?

Stagnation is when things stop moving forward and just sit there, like a puddle that never dries up.

Imagine you have a toy car that runs on a track. Every day, you push it, and it zooms around the track. But one day, you notice something, the car isn’t going as fast as usual. Then, one day, it just stops altogether. It's like it got tired and decided to take a nap forever. That’s stagnation, when something that used to move or change just stops doing so.

What Stagnation Feels Like

When you’re playing with your toys, you love when they do cool things, like spinning, jumping, or even talking (if it's a smart toy). But if your toy just sits there and doesn’t do anything, it feels kind of sad. That’s how stagnation feels for bigger things too, like a city where no one builds new houses, or a river that doesn't flow anymore.

Stagnation can happen to anything, even you! If you stop trying new things, or learning, it's like your brain is taking a long nap. But the good news? You can wake it up again with some fun and fresh ideas!
