What is sphere?

A sphere is like a perfectly round ball, think of a basketball or a marble.

Imagine you have a balloon and you blow it up until it’s nice and full. If you keep blowing, it gets bigger but stays round all the way around. That shape is a sphere. It has no corners or edges, just smooth curves from one side to the other.

A sphere rolls easily because it's the same distance from its center to any point on its surface. That means if you roll a ball across the floor, it moves smoothly without wobbling, unlike a cube or a box, which has sharp edges and doesn’t roll as nicely.
