What is SpaceX?

SpaceX is a company that builds super cool rockets and sends them to space.

Imagine you have a toy car that can zoom up to the sky and come back, that's kind of what SpaceX does, but with real cars (we call them rockets) and real highways (we call them space).

SpaceX builds rockets, which are like giant straws that shoot fire out of their bottom. This fire pushes the rocket up, all the way into space.

Once it's in space, sometimes SpaceX sends satellites, which are like little helpers that float around and help our phones find their way or let us watch TV from far away.

SpaceX is special because it helps people go to space more often and cheaper, kind of like how a vending machine lets you get snacks quickly instead of waiting for someone to bring them.
