How It Works
SpaceX builds rockets, which are like giant straws that shoot fire out of their bottom. This fire pushes the rocket up, all the way into space.
Once it's in space, sometimes SpaceX sends satellites, which are like little helpers that float around and help our phones find their way or let us watch TV from far away.
Why It Matters
SpaceX is special because it helps people go to space more often and cheaper, kind of like how a vending machine lets you get snacks quickly instead of waiting for someone to bring them.
Examples
- SpaceX is like a team of astronauts who also build their own rockets and go on adventures in space.
- Imagine having a toy spaceship that you can use again and again, that's kind of what SpaceX does with real spaceships.
