What is Son?

Son is someone who is born from another person, usually their mother or father, and sometimes both.

Imagine you have a favorite toy that you made by putting together two different pieces. That’s kind of like what happens when a son is born. A mother and father come together, and from them, a new person, the son, grows inside the mother, just like your toy was put together from two parts.

A father gives something called sperm, which is like a tiny message that says "Hey, let's make a baby!" A mother has something called an egg, and when those two meet, they start making a new person, the son.

This happens inside the mother’s body, just like how your favorite cookie gets baked in the oven. After some time, the son comes out, and that's how you get to know someone as your son, because they were born from you or someone you love!
