What is socialist?

Socialist is when people work together to share things so everyone can be happy and have what they need.

Imagine you and your friends are playing a game where you all take turns using a toy. Instead of one person keeping the toy all day, you all get to play with it, that’s socialism in action!

Sharing toys is like sharing work

In a socialist place, people might share jobs or money so no one has too much and no one has too little. It's like if your parents gave you and your friends the same amount of candy, everyone gets to enjoy it equally.

Everyone helps out

Sometimes in socialism, instead of just one person being the boss, everyone helps make decisions. It’s like when you all vote on which game to play next, that way, no one is left out or ignored.

Socialism makes sure people look out for each other, so life feels fairer and more fun!
