What Makes a Smile Happen
When you feel happy, something inside you tells your face to move. Your mouth goes up into a curve, like when you drink from a cup with a straw, it makes a smile shape. Your eyes also change, they get bigger and maybe even have little crinkles around them, like when you laugh while eating chocolate.
How You Can See a Smile
Imagine your best friend just gave you a big hug after a long day at school. You feel warm inside, and suddenly your face changes, that’s a smile! It's like when you press the "happy" button on a toy, and it lights up with joy.
Smiling is how people show they're happy without saying anything, just by using their faces!
