What is simple?

A simple thing is something that does not need a lot of parts or steps to work.

Imagine you have two blocks, one red and one blue. If you want to stack them, you just put the red one on top of the blue one. That’s simple, because it only takes one action: place.

Now think about your toy box. A simple toy might be a ball, you can throw it, kick it, or roll it. You don’t need to press buttons or twist parts to make it work. It just is. That’s what makes it simple.

What Makes Something Not Simple?

If something has many pieces that all have to fit together perfectly, like a big puzzle with 100 pieces, then it's not simple. You need to find each piece and put them in the right place, lots of work!

So, remember: simple means easy to use, fewer parts, and less steps, just like stacking blocks or playing with a ball.
