Sensitivity is how much something changes when you tweak it just a little bit.
Imagine you have a balloon, the kind you blow up to play with. If you add one tiny puff of air, it gets bigger. But if you blow really hard all at once, it might pop! That's like sensitivity: how much the balloon (or whatever you're looking at) reacts when you change something a little.
Like a See-Saw
Think about a see-saw in the playground. If one kid sits on one end and another kid sits on the other end, the see-saw moves up and down. Now imagine if one of the kids is super light, and the other is super heavy, even a little change in weight will make the see-saw go all the way up or down. That’s high sensitivity.
But if both kids are about the same size, you have to add a lot more weight for the see-saw to move much. That’s low sensitivity.
So sensitivity is like how wiggly or reactive something is, the bigger the wiggle from a little nudge, the more sensitive it is!
