Like Playing with Blocks
Imagine you have two blocks: one red, one blue. You drop them from the same height, and both hit the ground at the same time. But if you make one heavier, it might fall faster. That’s sciencey, you’re testing what happens when things change.
Like Baking Cookies
Sciencey is also like baking cookies. If you add more sugar, your cookie might be sweeter. If you leave it in the oven too long, it could burn. You try different amounts and see what works best, that’s testing and observing, just like scientists do.
You don’t need to be a genius or have special tools. All you need is a little bit of curiosity and a willingness to ask why?
