What is scarier?

"Scarier means something that makes you feel really afraid or even startle you."

Imagine you're playing in your room and everything is calm, you can hear your favorite song coming from the radio, and your teddy bear is sitting next to you. Then, all of a sudden, the lights go out, and you hear a big bang! It's like when you drop your favorite cup on the floor and it breaks into pieces.

That’s what being scared feels like, it’s when something unexpected happens that makes your heart beat faster, and you might even jump up or shout. Sometimes, the thing that is scarier isn’t always bigger or louder; it can be something small but surprising, just like a shadow that moves on the wall when you're trying to fall asleep.

If you're hiding under the bed and hear someone walking by, step, step, step, that’s pretty scary too. It's like being in a game where you don’t know what will happen next!
