What is Sahara Desert?

The Sahara Desert is the biggest desert on Earth, like a giant sand playground that stretches for miles and miles.

Imagine you have a big box full of tiny yellow grains, that's like sand, and the Sahara has billions of those little grains. If you could walk all over it, it would feel like walking on a never-ending beach.

The Sahara is so huge that if you put all the countries in Europe inside it, they would still fit with room to spare! It's like having a super-sized cookie and eating only a small bite, there’s still way more left for everyone else.

Sometimes, the Sahara can be very hot, like when you leave your favorite toy in the sun on a summer day. But sometimes, it can also get really cold at night, just like when you go from playing outside to being inside with a warm blanket.
