"Richer means having more stuff or value than someone else."
Imagine you and your friend both have piggy banks. Your piggy bank has 10 coins, and your friend’s has only 5. You are richer because you have more coins, which mean you can buy more toys or ice cream.
Now think about value, that's how much something is worth. If you had a piggy bank with 10 shiny gold coins, and your friend had 20 regular coins, who would be richer? Maybe you are still richer, because the gold coins are more valuable.
Sometimes being richer isn’t just about how many things you have. It’s also about what those things can do for you.
What makes someone richer?
- More things, like more toys, or more candy.
- Better things, like a gold coin instead of a regular one.
- Things that can help you get even more, like a piggy bank with a special button that adds coins every day.
So when we say someone is richer, it means they have either more, better, or more powerful stuff than others.
