What is Revolution of 1848?

The Revolution of 1848 was like a big group of people saying “We want to be treated fairly!” all across Europe.

Imagine you're in a classroom where the teacher always picks on one student, even though everyone else is working hard. That student gets tired of being picked on and finally stands up and says, “I'm done with this!” Then other students start joining in, and soon the whole class is standing up together, that’s what happened in 1848.

Like a classroom full of kids saying "We want fairness!"

In many parts of Europe at that time, kings and nobles were like the teacher who picked on one student. They had all the power, and regular people, like farmers and workers, didn’t get to say much. But in 1848, things changed.

People started having big meetings and even fighting a little bit, it was like a classroom where kids stood up together and said “We want fairness!” Across Europe, from France to Germany, people wanted more freedom, better jobs, and the right to vote. That’s why we call it a revolution, it was a big change in how people lived.

So, the Revolution of 1848 wasn’t just about kings and nobles; it was about regular people wanting their fair share too!
