What is reshaped?

Reshaping means changing the form or outline of something while keeping the same material inside. Think of a soft ball of playdough in your hands. You push it, pull it, and squash it until it looks like a little worm or a flat pancake. The amount of playdough is exactly the same, but its shape is completely new. This is reshaping.

Changing Form

Imagine you have a lump of modeling clay. You roll it into a ball. Then you press it flat. Then you stretch it long. The clay did not grow bigger or shrink smaller. You just changed its shape. That is reshaping.

Think about a balloon. When you blow air into it, the rubber stretches and gets rounder and bigger. The balloon was reshaped by the air pushing out from the inside. The rubber itself is the same, but the form changed.

Think about a puddle after rain. The water is flat on the ground. If you scoop it up in a cup, the water changes shape again. It takes the shape of the cup. The water is still water. Only the outline changed.

Reshaping happens all around us. A cloud might look like a bunny, then shift to look like a horse. The clouds are reshaped by the wind. A piece of paper can be folded into a paper airplane. The paper is the same, but the shape is new.

Reshaping is just moving matter into a new form.

When you reshape something, you are not creating new stuff. You are just rearranging what is already there. It is like putting on a new outfit for an object. The object is the same, but it looks different.
