What is radiator?

A radiator is like a warm hug from your wall that helps keep you cozy on cold days.

Imagine it’s winter, and you’re wearing a heavy jacket, but your feet are still chilly. That’s when a radiator steps in! It’s a special kind of heater that sits on the wall or floor and gets really hot, so hot that it warms up the air around it, which then goes all over the room like a warm breeze.

Think of a radiator as a big, sleepy person who wakes up and starts radiating heat. Inside it, there’s water or something similar that gets heated by a boiler, kind of like how your soup warms up when you put it on the stove. Then this hot water moves through pipes to the radiator, making it warm.

Once it's warm, it gives off heat into the room, just like how a hot cup of cocoa warms your hands when you hold it.

Without a radiator, you’d have to wear extra layers or huddle under blankets all day. But with one, you can sit on the floor barefoot and still be happy, because warmth is coming from right next to you!
