What is possibility?

Possibility is like having a bag full of different toys, you don’t know exactly which one you’ll get, but you know there are lots to choose from.

Imagine you're playing with your favorite building blocks. You can build a tall tower, a wide bridge, or even a wiggly snake that moves across the floor. Each way you stack them is a possibility, something that could happen if you try it.

What Makes Something Possible?

A possibility is like a choice you have in front of you. If you have three different colored blocks, you can pick any one of them to start your building. That means there are three possibilities for the first block in your tower!

Sometimes you might not know what will happen next, maybe it’s like choosing a flavor of ice cream without looking. You don’t know if you’ll get chocolate or vanilla, but both are still possibilities.

Why Possibility Matters

When you're playing with blocks, trying out new ways to build helps your brain grow. It's the same with possibility, it shows you that there are many different things you can do, and each one is a fun adventure waiting to happen! Possibility is like having a bag full of different toys, you don’t know exactly which one you’ll get, but you know there are lots to choose from.
