What is pluralism?

Pluralism is when different groups all live together and share the same space, like a big, colorful toy box.

Imagine you have a toy box full of cars, dolls, blocks, and puzzles. Each one plays differently, but they all fit in the same box. That’s kind of what pluralism is, it's when people with different ideas, traditions, or ways of life live together in the same place.

Like a Playground

Think about a playground. Some kids like to swing, others like to slide, and some prefer to run around. They all play differently, but they’re all having fun together on the same playground. No one has to stop playing just because someone else is doing something different.

Pluralism means everyone can be themselves, whether they like to swing, slide, or run, and still be part of the same group, like a class or a neighborhood. It’s about sharing space while keeping your own special way of being.
