How PET Works
Imagine you have a big jar of colorful beads. When you want to make something, like a bracelet or a necklace, you melt the beads together. That’s kind of what happens with PET when it's made into things like bottles or packaging, it gets melted and shaped.
But here's the cool part: once you're done using that bottle, instead of throwing it away, you can collect all those old bottles and turn them back into new beads, or even into new bottles! This process is called recycling, and PET is super good at being recycled because it doesn’t get tired easily.
Why PET Matters
PET is used in so many things, like water bottles, soda cans, and even some clothes. Because it can be reused over and over again, we don’t have to make as much new plastic every time. It’s like having a never-ending supply of beads for your most creative projects!
