Sometimes, being a perfectionist feels like having a special kind of superpower: you want everything to be perfect. But this superpower can also make things harder because you might worry too much about little mistakes.
What It Feels Like
Think about drawing a picture. A normal kid would say, "This is good!" and move on. But if you're a perfectionist, you might keep erasing and redrawing until the lines are perfect, even if it takes all your time and energy!
Perfectionism can be fun, but sometimes it makes things feel harder than they need to be!
