What is Peninsula's location?

Peninsula is a place that’s part land and part water, just like when you have a big cookie and you bite off a corner, it's still connected to the rest of the cookie, but it's also got some space around it.

Imagine you're playing in the park near a lake. Peninsula is like that big piece of land that’s attached to the mainland by a small strip, just like how your cookie is still connected to the rest of it even after you take a bite. That small strip could be a narrow road, or maybe even a beach, something you can walk across.
