What is painter?

A painter is someone who uses colors and brushes to make pictures on a special surface like a wall or canvas.

Imagine you have a big, empty white shirt. A painter is like someone who takes crayons or markers and draws all over it, not just one line or shape, but lots of different ones that come together to look like something fun, like a rainbow, a cat, or even your favorite superhero!

A painter uses tools called brushes, which are like big, soft fingers. They dip these brushes into color, think of it like dipping your finger into glue and then pressing it onto paper, and then they move the brush across the surface to make pretty lines and shapes.

Sometimes a painter will mix different colors together, just like you might mix red and yellow juice to make orange juice. This makes new colors that can look even more special!
