What is notice?

Notice is when you see or realize something important has happened.

Imagine you're playing with your favorite toy car. You push it gently across the floor, and suddenly, it stops! That’s notice, you saw that your car had stopped moving, and maybe you even figured out why (like if it hit a block or ran out of energy).

Like Finding a Hidden Treasure

Think of notice as being like finding a hidden treasure in your room. You're playing with blocks, and then, boom!, you spot a shiny coin under the couch. That’s notice, you saw something new and exciting that wasn’t there before.

Notice Happens Every Day

You use notice all the time: when you see your favorite snack on the table, or when you realize it's time for bed because the sun has gone down. It's just your brain saying, “Hey, I see something important now!”

So next time something catches your eye, like a funny cloud in the sky, that’s notice doing its job!
