What is neurophilosophy?

Neurophilosophy is when scientists and thinkers study how our brain works to understand what it means to be human.

Imagine your brain is like a super-smart robot inside your head. This robot controls everything you do, from smiling to solving tricky puzzles. Neurophilosophy asks questions like: What makes us think? How does the robot know when we're happy or sad? It uses science, like experiments and brain scans, to peek into how this robot works.

How it helps us understand ourselves

Think of your favorite toy. When you play with it, you feel excited. Neurophilosophy might try to find out what happens inside your head when you see that toy, maybe some parts of the brain light up like a glowing circuit board!

It’s like being a detective who looks at clues from both the science of the brain and the ideas of philosophy, helping us figure out who we really are.
