What is NBA?

The NBA is like a big league where the best basketball players from all over the world compete to be the best team.

Imagine you and your friends play a game of basketball every day after school, and the winner gets to wear a special badge. Now picture that happening across hundreds of kids in different cities, but instead of badges, they get to join the NBA, which is like the top league for grown-up basketball players.

How It Works

Each team has 12 players who try their hardest to score more points than the other team. They play games on a special court with a hoop at each end, just like you do in your backyard, but bigger and faster!

Every season, teams play many games against each other, and the best ones get to compete in something called the playoffs, which is like a big final tournament where only the top players can be champions.

The Big Event

At the end of the year, the whole league has a special event called the NBA Finals, it's like the biggest game of all, and the winning team gets to be called the champions, just like you might call your class champion if you win a contest.
