What is moral?

Moral is about what we choose to do that helps others or makes things fair.

Imagine you're playing a game with your friends at recess, and there's only one ball. You could take it all for yourself, but instead, you share it so everyone gets a turn. That’s being moral, choosing to be kind and fair even when it’s not the easiest thing.

What Makes Something Moral?

When we do something moral, we're like little helpers in the world. We might say sorry when we hurt someone, or we might give up our seat on the bus for a tired grown-up. These are choices that make other people feel happy or safe.

Why It Matters

Think of your favorite toy, it's special to you, and you want to play with it all day long. But if your friend is sad because they lost their favorite snack, maybe you can share your toy for a little while so they can be happy again. That’s moral in action, helping others feel good even when you could keep everything for yourself.

Being moral is like having a superpower that makes the world a better place, one kind act at a time!
