What is monomyth?

The monomyth is like a special recipe that many stories use to become really exciting and fun.

Imagine you have a toy box, it’s full of different toys, but they all come from the same big idea. That's what the monomyth is like: it's a pattern that many stories follow, making them feel familiar even if they're new.

The Journey Begins

When a story starts, it's like when you begin playing with your favorite toy. A character goes on an adventure, just like you go from one room in the house to another. This is called the call to adventure.

The Big Adventure

Then, things get interesting! The character faces challenges and meets friends who help them along the way, it's like when you need help building a big tower with your blocks. Eventually, the character grows stronger and learns something important, just like how you learn new games every day.

At the end of the story, the character returns home changed, just like after playing all day, you go to bed feeling happy and tired, but also proud of everything you did!
