Like Building With Blocks
Think of modifiability like building with blocks. If your tower is made of big, heavy bricks, it might be hard to change one brick without knocking the whole tower down. But if it's made of small, easy-to-move blocks, you can swap out a block in seconds, that’s modifiability!
When Things Are Easy to Fix
If something has good modifiability, like your toy car or your block tower, it means you don’t have to start all over again when something goes wrong. You just fix the part that's broken, and everything else stays the same, like magic, but without the word magic!
Examples
- A toy that can be easily turned into a new toy with just a few pieces.
- A recipe you can change without starting over.
