What is mentee?

A mentee is someone who learns from and grows with the help of a mentor, like a friend or teacher who guides them.

Imagine you're learning to ride a bike. Your big brother or sister holds the back of your seat while you pedal. That person is like a mentor, they help you balance and feel more confident. You, on the other hand, are the mentee, because you’re learning and growing with their support.

Like Learning from a Friend

Sometimes, a mentee is just someone who wants to get better at something, like drawing, coding, or even playing soccer. The mentor could be an expert, a parent, or even a classmate, someone who knows more about the topic and is happy to share their knowledge.

Growing Together

Being a mentee isn’t just about getting help, it’s also about working together. Just like you practice riding your bike every day, a mentee keeps learning and trying new things with the support of their mentor. It's like having a buddy who helps you become stronger, faster, or smarter, one step at a time!
