MBTI is a fun way to figure out how people think and feel by looking at four different choices they make.
Imagine you're playing a game where you pick four different kinds of hats, and each hat shows something about your personality. These hats are thinking vs. feeling, sensing vs. intuition, judging vs. perceiving, and extraversion vs. introversion.
Thinking vs. Feeling
Some people like to use their brains to solve problems, like math or logic, they're thinkers. Others prefer to go with how they feel about something, like choosing a friend over a rule, they're feelers.
Judging vs. Perceiving
People who like to plan things ahead are called judgers, like when you pack your backpack the night before school starts. People who like to go with the flow are perceivers, like when you decide to play outside instead of doing homework right away.
Each choice makes a different kind of personality, and together they help explain why people might act or react differently in similar situations, just like how some kids love puzzles while others prefer drawing pictures.
Examples
- A kid takes a quick quiz and finds out they're an ENFP, they love making friends and being creative.
- A student takes the test and learns they’re an ISTJ, which helps them understand why they prefer routines.
- A teacher uses MBTI to group students by personality type for better teamwork.
