What is Luck?

Luck is when things happen in a way that feels surprising or special, almost like the world is giving you a gift.

Imagine you're playing a game where you pick a marble out of a bag. If you pick a red marble, you win a sticker! But if you pick a blue one, nothing happens. Sometimes, without trying too hard, you might get a red marble again and again, that feels like luck.

Luck isn’t something you can see or touch, but it's easy to notice when it happens. Like when your favorite toy falls out of the box just as you're about to lose it, that’s luck! It’s not because someone is helping you; it’s just that things happened in a way that made you happy.

Sometimes, people think luck comes from doing things right or trying really hard. But even if you don’t try too much, lucky things can still happen, like when the rain stops just as you're about to get wet. That’s a little bit of luck!
