What is look?

Look is when you use your eyes to see something clearly and understand what it is.

Imagine you're playing hide-and-seek in a park. You close your eyes, count to ten, and then look around to find your friends. When you open your eyes and see them behind the trees or hiding under the swings, that’s look, using your eyes to find something.

How Look Works

When you look, your eyes catch light from whatever you're seeing. Your brain takes that information and makes sense of it. It's like when you shine a flashlight on a toy, the light helps you see the colors and shapes better.

Why Look Matters

Without look, you'd be like a cat in the dark, you might feel around, but you won’t know what’s there. With look, you can tell if it's your favorite teddy bear or just a pile of socks!
