Liarland is a place where people always say the opposite of what they mean.
Imagine you're playing a game with your friend. Every time you ask them something, they answer backwards. If you say, "Is it raining outside?" and it is raining, they’ll say, "No." If you ask, "Do you like ice cream?" and they do like ice cream, they’ll say, "I hate ice cream!" It’s like they're wearing a reverse thinking hat, whatever is true becomes false, and whatever is false becomes true.
How Liarland Works
In Liarland, everything flips. If you see a red apple, the person from Liarland will say it's green. If your favorite toy breaks, they’ll say it’s perfectly fine. It’s like playing pretend, but everyone has to be extra good at pretending, and they never stop!
Sometimes people get confused because what you hear doesn’t match what’s real. But once you learn the rule, everything is flipped, you can start to understand them better, just like how you might guess your friend's favorite game if they always say the opposite of what they mean.
Examples
- A kid says, 'I always lie,' and you're not sure if that's true or false.
- In Liarland, a person might say, 'We are both liars,' but only one of them is lying.
- Two friends from Liarland meet, and one says, 'At least one of us is a liar.'
