What is Leadership?

Leadership is when someone helps others do their best and makes sure everyone works together toward a goal.

Imagine you're building a tower with blocks, you have friends helping you. Sometimes the tower gets wobbly, or no one knows what to do next. That’s when a leader steps in, like your favorite friend who says, “Let’s try stacking them this way!” A leader doesn’t always have to be the fastest or strongest, they just know how to guide others and keep things fun.

What Makes Someone a Leader?

A leader is like the person who knows the rules of the game but also helps everyone learn them. They listen when someone says, “I don’t get it,” and explain it in a way that makes sense.

Leaders Are Not Always In Charge

Sometimes a leader is just the kid who starts a game and keeps it going. Other times, they’re the one who helps clean up after everyone has fun, because they know that’s part of being a good friend too.
