What is Justice?

Justice is when everyone gets treated fairly and gets what they need to be happy.

Imagine you're playing a game with your friends, like tag or hide-and-seek. Justice is like making sure the rules are the same for everyone, so no one feels left out or cheated. If one friend always gets to hide first because they’re bigger, that’s not fair. But if you all take turns and follow the same rules, that's justice in action!

Think of a seesaw at the park, when both sides are even, it balances perfectly. That’s like justice: everyone gets their turn, and things feel balanced. If one side is much heavier, the other goes up high, that’s unfair, just like if someone gets more candy than you do without any reason.
