How Big Is Jupiter?
Jupiter is so big that it could fit more than 1,300 Earths inside it, like putting a bunch of tiny toy cars into a giant toy truck.
Also, Jupiter's gravity is super strong because it’s so large. It can pull in other space rocks and even moons, it has 79 known moons, more than any other planet!
Jupiter is also really far away from the Sun compared to Earth, but its size makes it look bright in the sky sometimes, like a glowing giant watching over us! Jupiter is the biggest planet in our solar system, it’s like a giant balloon compared to Earth.
Imagine you have a huge beach ball and a tiny marble. The beach ball is Jupiter, and the marble is Earth. If you put them next to each other, Jupiter would completely cover the marble with room to spare!
Examples
- If Earth was the size of a marble, Jupiter would be as big as a car.
- You could fit more than 1,300 Earths inside Jupiter.
