What is Isolation?

Isolation means keeping something separate so it doesn’t mix with others.

Imagine you have a sandbox where you play with your toys. Now, if you want to build a special castle just for your teddy bear, you might put a fence around it. That way, no other toy can go in and mess up the castle. That’s like isolation, keeping one thing separate so it stays just how you want it.

Why We Use Isolation

Sometimes, when things mix together, they cause problems. Think of it like a coloring book: if you use red crayon on blue paper, it might look messy. But if you keep the red crayon and blue paper apart, maybe in different boxes, then each stays clean and special.

Isolation helps us make sure that what we're working on doesn’t get changed by something else. It’s like having your own little world to play in, just for you!
