What is interrupted?

Imagine you're playing with your favorite toy car, and it suddenly stops halfway through a big race, that’s what "interrupted" means.

You were doing something important, like going from one place to another, or finishing a task, but something came in the way and made you stop before you were done. That's being interrupted!

Like a Phone Call

Think of it like this: You're building a tower with your blocks, and just when you’re about to put on the final block, someone calls you on the phone. You have to pause your block tower to answer, that’s an interruption.

Sometimes, like in a video game, you can come back later and finish where you left off. Other times, like if you spilled juice all over your blocks, it might be harder to go back to what you were doing.

So, being interrupted is just when something stops you from finishing what you're doing, like that phone call or that juice spill!
