What is interconnectedness?

Interconnectedness means everything is connected to other things, just like pieces of a puzzle.

Imagine you have a toy train set. Each train car is a different color, red, blue, green, and they all link together to make one long train. If you move the red car, it changes how the whole train looks and moves. That’s interconnectedness: when one part affects another.

Like a Big Web

Think of your friends at school. When one person laughs, others start laughing too. Or if someone is sad, it makes the whole group feel a little sadder. It's like they're all parts of a big web, and when one thread moves, the rest moves with it.

A Real-Life Example

You might have seen this at home. When your mom cooks, the smell goes to the kitchen, then to the living room, and maybe even upstairs. Your dad starts sniffing around, your brother gets hungry, and you want to taste it too. All of you are connected through that one smell.

So, interconnectedness is like being part of a big family, everything affects everyone else, in fun and simple ways.
