What is Intellectual intelligence (IQ)?

Intellectual intelligence, or IQ, is like how smart your brain is, kind of like how many blocks you can stack before they fall!

Imagine you have two toy boxes: one has puzzle pieces and the other has building blocks. If you’re really good at figuring out puzzles and counting blocks quickly, that means your brain is working hard and fast, which means your IQ might be high! But if it takes you longer to find the right piece or count all the blocks, that's okay too, everyone learns at their own speed.

People test IQ with special questions. Some are like riddles, others are math problems, and some ask you to remember things. Just like how teachers check your spelling or counting skills in class, these tests show how well your brain can solve problems and learn new things.

Having a high IQ doesn’t mean you’re the only smart one, it just means you might find some tasks easier than others. And that's totally fine! What matters most is that you keep trying, just like when you practice stacking blocks or solving puzzles every day.
